This week we catch up with Lawyer & Influencer, Julen Alfonso...
As someone who works a full-time job, as seen on your Instagram, are you also a full-time blogger? How has being an influencer affected your job, if at all?
I am a lawyer but I work full time in luxury retail in London. Moreover I have my own PR agency specialised in influencer marketing and I work as an influencer. My days are so busy and I finish exhausted. I don’t have so much time. My full time job does effect my job as an influencer as time limits me.
How long have you been blogging and what sparked your interest in becoming a blogger? Additionally, how has being an influencer changed your life?
I have been working as a blogger for more than 2 years. My life got more interesting thanks to the events and collaborations. I like to have fun with my job and meet new people who have the same interests. Actually I am thinking to move my career more into fashion and marketing rather than in law.
What advice would you give people interested in becoming an influencer who also have a full-time job?
I think that it is important to organise the week. Even if your exhausted after work, make the effort and attend the event.. you can meet a lot of genuine people and have a lot of fun!
Whats the most unique experience you've been able to have through being an influencer?
I remember one collaboration with a restaurant. It was my first collaboration in London. They treated as like we were famous. They spoiled us a lot and they were so happy with our job.
And I remember my first collaboration with SeñorLobo (A wooden bow tie brand) We did a photo shoot for 3 hours around the town, I changed my clothes in the car, it was so funny! I really enjoyed the experience and this is what made me continue blogging!
