I have been blogging for around 3 years. I started because I didn’t see anyone like myself in the industry. When I was younger I used to flick through fashion catalogues but never see anyone of my colour representing. I want “brown girl” bloggers to be a norm, I want girls like myself to be able to relate to fashion brands and I want them to know that they are also beautiful even if they look different to the “norm”.
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
Probably just being noticed by brands and not being able to work with them and also having confidence. Although from the outside I may seem confidence, it’s something I’m still working on.
I work full time but during my lunch breaks I would be editing any content and getting it ready to post. After work, I’d usually shoot some more content but in the evenings having some me time and catching up on some Eastenders whilst sipping on some Green tea.
Finally, If you had one piece of advice to give to other aspiring influencers, what would it be?
To Never Give up, follow your dreams and don’t let people’s words affect your confidence.
