This week we caught up VIP Member and Beauty Business Owner, Sisanda...
How long have you been blogging and what motivated you to start?
I started blogging in June 2018, I then side tracked as I was planning my wedding and I was opening my own business which made things a little slow on the blogging side of things. I simply a stay at home mom at the time and I loved dressing up and just loved taking pictures of myself so I figured let me share on a platform and just enjoy the journey.
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
My biggest challenge so far is most definitely trying to balance between a new business, mom life and being a wife. Its not exactly easy when you have to run a household, do homework, gymnastics run, running a business dealing with staff with different attitudes and being a wife trying to keep it all sexy and all sorts and then ME trying to make sure I look fab all the time just for me!
What's a typical day like for you?
A typical day for me before lockdown, wake up at 6am get ready make breakfast, get Aaliyah up get her ready, eat breakfast, get Aaliyah to school, straight to the shop after that, open the shop and the day starts at 10am I leave the shop at 6pm, go home take Aaliyah to gymnastics training, get back home cook dinner load the washing machine, pick Aaliyah up from gymnastics, eat dinner, give her a bath, do homework and off to bed she goes. I clean the house at night after she’s gone to bed, have my bath and off to bed I go.
Finally, If you had one piece of advice to give to other aspiring influencers, what would it be?
Consistency, patience and always ask questions on how to grow and how to improve if you need help, we all start somewhere , always know that you are not alone there’s so many other influencers who are willing to help. Also the one quote I live by is “never give up as your breaking point could be your breakthrough point."
