Don't worry about other people! At the end of the day, we are all doing our own thing, so focus on yourself and don't worry about others. If people do have something to say, it's most likely the ones that would never have the courage to do what you're doing. Surround yourself with likeminded people with similar interests and you'll be just fine!
This week we catch up with fashion & lifestyle and The Body Shop Ambassador, Tabie Ledesma...
How long have you been blogging and what motivated you to start?
I first launched my blog in 2017, where I would write posts covering fashion and lifestyle. At the same time, this was when I started getting more into the idea of Instagram as I love playing around with visuals and found it gave me more of a creative platform to play around with images, compared to my blog, which felt had more of a strict structure to it. I just wanted to have fun with it! Since then I've been 'blogging' on Instagram ever since and have managed to acquire a 2-year collaboration with The Body Shop!
My love for fashion definitely played a huge part in motivating me to start blogging - also, I've always loved photography so it gave me the opportunity to merge the two together! I love the idea of sharing my images and ideas to people even if it is just 2 people out there who are genuinely curious haha!
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
My biggest challenge so far has been being able to balance Blogging while being full-time at University. I've always struggled with being consistent and a perfectionist, therefore, it definitely delays my posting schedule as I want to make sure I'm posting the best I can!
However, with Graduation slowly creeping in, in a few months, I'll be able to up my Instagram game more and put all of my attention on creating content!
Whats a typical day like for you?
My typical day (before the pandemic haha) usually consists of either going to work or University and prioritizing my free time outside of that on what content I can create!
Finally, If you had one piece of advice to give to other aspiring influencers, what would it be?
